What kinds of parking solutions does Safeway Parking offer?
We offer three types of solutions. Daily and monthly parking is available at 39 indoor and outdoor locations in downtown Montreal. Winter storage takes place in heated indoor parking facilities. Finally, parking management is offered to building owners and commercial space managers.
How do I book a parking space?
For daily parking, simply show up on site or pay with the Blinkay app. For a monthly subscription or winter storage, fill out the online form or email us at safeway@safewayparking.ca. Winter storage is offered by season, from December to May, with a minimum commitment of four months.
What are the eligibility requirements for vehicles?
Your vehicle must meet two conditions:
- maximum height of 1.83 m;
- insurance coverage for a stored vehicle.
How do I access my vehicle during the storage period?
Access is by appointment. Email us or call (514) 842-2222 at least 24 hours in advance and we will have your vehicle ready when you arrive.
What is the valet service?
You leave your vehicle at the parking entrance and one of our valets takes care of it. When you return, it is brought back to you. No need to look for a space or walk to the exit, which is handy when you are expected at an appointment or in a hurry to get to work.
At which parking facilities is the valet service offered?
The service is offered at most of our parking facilities.
Do I need to book in advance?
No. If the service is offered, just arrive and the valet will take care of the rest.
Is my vehicle covered while a valet is driving it?
Yes. If an accident happens, our insurance takes care of it.
What is the difference between a monthly subscription and the daily rate?
If you always park in the same place, a subscription costs less than paying every day. It also gives you a space at that location, with no need to check availability every morning.
Can I enter and exit as often as I want?
Yes. Your monthly subscription gives you access to the parking facility at any time during the month, with no limit on entries or exits.
Does my monthly subscription give me access to all parking facilities?
No. Your subscription is valid only at the parking facility where you signed up.
How do I get a subscription?
Click the “Request a subscription” button on the Monthly subscription page and fill out the form. A representative will contact you to confirm availability at the chosen parking facility and finalize the agreement.

How do I renew or cancel my subscription?
It depends on how you signed up. If you went through the on-site attendant, simply let them know directly.
If you signed up through the GTechna app, you can manage or cancel your subscription yourself from your account.

How do I pay for parking?
You can pay directly on site, or from your phone with the Blinkay app. Online payments are processed by PayPal and accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, with no PayPal account required.
How does the Blinkay app work?
Download the app, confirm the address of the parking facility you are at, then pay for the time you need. No ticket to display and no pay station to find when you return.
How do I get a receipt?
It depends on how you paid. If you paid the on-site attendant, they will give you a receipt directly.
At the pay station and in the app, the receipt is issued automatically.
If you have already parked with us and lost your receipt, email us at safeway@safewayparking.ca and we will send you a copy.

In most of our parking locations, you can obtain a monthly permit—a smart choice if you park in the same area regularly. To request a monthly permit, simply click the link below, and the person in charge will get back to you as soon as possible.
The advantages of a monthly pass are significant. If you always park in the same place, you can save money by switching from daily parking to a monthly pass. You’ll have the freedom to enter and exit your assigned location at any time during the month.
